east london
Probably my favourite area in London, with its Shoreditch Box Park, Brick Lane, quirky stores and cosy coffee shops.

rosebuds
This sculpture on Westbourne Grove reminded me that I really want to find some flowers and try making myself a flower crown

Forget Oxfam Feed Twggy
I really liked this one! The exhibition shows how art, fashion, celebrities and music impacted on last century's culture. It covers everything from 50's to 70's, rock'n'roll, swinging sixties, psychedelia, punk and many more. And the best music from these eras was playing throughout the exhibition, which made it even more enjoyable.

taste of paris
It's easy to feel yourself little bit like in Paris on Piccadilly Street. Go and check out the impressionism exhibition in Royal Academy of Arts, have a croissant and coffee at Paul's and later treat yourself in Ladurée.
I wasn't allowed to take photos inside the exhibition but it was really beautiful and interesting.
It was quite small but still featured some major works.

London diary, 4th week.
It's my fourth week in London and it's already Wednesday! Almost half done.
Visited Grant Museum of Zoology, rather a small museum but it's packed full of skeletons and specimens preserved in fluid. I liked it much more than the Natural History Museum.
Entry to the museum is free and it's opened Mon-Fri 1-5 pm.

urban jungle
Sorry for a non-fashion related photo bomb again but I really wanted to share these ones with you.
On Sunday a week or two ago I went back to Barbican Centre to find the conservatory. In fact it's quite hard to find and opened only on Sundays and that makes it even more special. I was really amazed when I finally got there. It's a real oasis in the middle of the big city, glass and concrete buildings. What a hidden treasure!
It was tropically warm and calmingly quiet there, everything that City of London isn't.
There's also a little bit information on Barbican Centre site.
I found out about the conservatory in the COS magazine which I picked up in their store.

anu samarüütel / debut contemporary
On Saturday I walked around the Nothing Hill and popped by the DEBUT Contemporary gallery on Westbourne Grove. Estonian artist and designer Anu Samarüütel was having a little cute pop-up shop there! She showed her fashion illustrations, did live painting, sold her jewelry and small artworks for love ♥ anu project. I also got one and some of them are also available for purchase here.
Check Anu's blog as well.

I wish I could get another toy at Harrods
Yesterday I walked through the Hyde Park for the first time and also stopped by the Serpentine Gallery to see To The Light, a major exhibition of the work of Yoko Ono. The exhibition includes several early works (e.g Cut Piece, 1964) as well as new projects like #smilesfilm.
'My ultimate goal in film-making is to make a film which includes a smiling face snap of every single human being in the world. Of course, I cannot go around the whole world and take the shots myself. I need cooperation...'
Yoko Ono, 1967
People from all over the world can have their photos taken at the gallery or upload photos by theirselves to twitter or instagram with hashtag #smilesfilm. Go to http://www.smilesfilm.com/ to find out more and be part of something huge!
Later I had a coffee at Serpentine's summer pavilion, this year designed by Herzog & de Meuron and Ai Weiwei, and left my wish on one of the Yoko Ono's wish trees. (The wish in the picture
isn't mine though)
The exhibition runs until 9 September, definitely go if you have a chance! I left with a smile on my face!

Santa Monica carnival in 1994
/Maison Martin Margiela recently released a new series of fragrances in their Replica line. The fragrances aim to capture “familiar scents and moments of varying locations and periods” and are called 'Flower Market', 'Beach Walk', 'Funfair Evening'. I really liked the idea of Flower Market but the scent itself was bit too sweet for me for I went for the 'Funfair Evevning'/

a bit more colours from yesterday.
crêpes with ham and cheese!, almost as same good as in Paris
Italian sweeeets
And of course the summer sale is everywhere but so far I've been avoiding it. 100m long queues and clothes on floor a la Zara isn't really my thing.
