kon ni chi wa

After visiting the Asakusa Kannon Temple I walked around a little bit more in blistering heat, discovered dirty backstreets and odd little shops.

Making of traditional Japanese snacks, rice crackers. Thery come in tons of different shapes and flavours, most of them taste very very weird.

Almost every restaurant here has food replicas to make choosing your dish easier.

Ice cream shop that had about 25 different flavours, chocolate and strawberry are basics of course but they also had sweet red bean, black sesame, buckwheat, purple potato, Japanese plum, cherry blossom, rose, green tea to name a few.
