pet shops

There are more pet shops in Tokyo than I've seen in anywhere else. And yes, it's not only about kittens and puppies, you can also go and buy yourself a monkey for example. #dontaskwhy

Oh and there are those big stores where you can buy all kind of clothing and jewelry for your dog. Japanese seem to be crazy about those very small dogs, you rarely see any big ones here.

  1. Aww, cute pictures but I don´t think monkeys belong in peoples homes :/

    1. I don't think so either.. I wouldn't buy myself a pet in this way anyway.. it's just doesn't seem right.

  2. Same. The kittens are adorable, but from what I've heard, pet shop animals are seldom well-treated. You know, beside the fact that they're stuck in a glass box. Got this uncomfortable feeling in my stomach upon looking at these photographs.
