Yay, Tokyo starts growing on me!
Went to Tokyu Plaza Omotesando/Harajuku and discovered their secret garden terrace on 6th floor. In fact it was actually an outdoor seating place of Starbucks. Yes, it's weird to visit some American coffeehouse chain when in Japan but somehow they have managed to get the best locations. There's another one overlooking the Shibuya crossing which is one of the busiest in the world.

Over the top Opening Ceremony store in Harajuku.
My first magazine job here also took place in that store and could wear all the amazing OC stuff.

Today I had such a thrilling day here in Tokyo.
I went to look for the stores that sell my ear cuffs here. It's one company but they have several different concept stores and cafes in Tokyo.
First one of them is Le Grand Bleu in Roppongi.
Next to the store they have a cafe which looking like a jungle in the centre of Tokyo. They have an amazing drink menu with fresh excotic juices and smoothies, I had one called Pink Floyd (guava + mango + papaya + pineapple + peaches + mint).
The other store Bedrock is situated near Harajuku in Omotesando Hills.
Let alone the clothes, the store itself is worth going to take a look at. It looked like a big cave filled with taxidermy, skulls, feathers, furs, sculptures and other curious items.
Above the store there was again a cafe called Forbidden Fruit. I had citrus paradise sparkling soda (lime + sudachi + rosemary + herbs + soda). It was nothing like the sodas I've had before. A nice new experience again!

Today I paid visit to Harajuku and it's most famous shopping street Takeshita-Dori. It's a crowded pedestrian only street lined with ridiculous fashion stores with cheap made in China stuff, which isn't even that cheap. There are lot of street-food stands and crepe cafés. I might say that those crepes are something completely different from the ones in Paris. Shopkeepers are always shouting something in Japanese and horrible japanese pop-music is played out loud.
Rather hectic! I really needed a relaxing walk in a park afterwards.

I don't wear dresses very often, in fact I actually own only two dresses. Now I found one I really like and actually can wear. It's from Karolin Kuusik's previous collection. It's called "The Dress of Grey Silence"
I love the back part which looks like flying while I'm walking.

I'm still struggling to get around here because there aren't many signs in English and maps seem completely useless but it's already getting better! And I finally found some huge grocery stores and fish markets.. can't wait to try out everything.
The streets here aren't actually that colourful as I thought they would be and it's rainy season so all you can see is a sea of umbrellas on the streets.

The newest exhibition at Kumu explores the world of legendary photographer Irving Penn (1917-2009). The show features very wide range of his works from still life, portraits of cultural figures, ethnographic series to Vogue covers.
I'm very glad we have a chance to see the works of one of the leading photographers of our time in Estonia. It was made possible thanks to Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
Exhibition is opened from June 14 - October 6.

I helped out my good friend with her schoolwork and modeled for her caped design. Johanna took photos and I think everything turned out lovely.
Kimono-looking cape and dark eyebrows got me really into Japanese mood, which is very appropriate as I'm flying to Tokyo later this week.
