H&M Design Award 2014

8 finalists of H&M Design Award 2014 were presented in central Stockholm during the fashion week.

The H&M Design Award is now in its third year, founded to support and celebrate fashion at the earliest stages. The award rewards current graduates as they begin their careers, and provide inspiration for young people to choose to study fashion. The winner is selected from 32 design colleges within Europe and the United States, whose students come from all over the world. Based on the collection the winner gets to develop selected pieces to be sold at selected H&M stores this autumn.

Eddy Anemian won the contest but here are my favorites.

Jia Hua / Parsons The New School for Design.
loving the mix of different textures and materials such as chiffon and sporty mesh

Xiao Li / Royal College of Art
marshmallow-colours and silicone garments moulded from knitwear
