Van Leeuwen's ice creams are my favourites I've had in New York so far.
They started out in Brooklyn, selling their ice cream out of a truck but now there's already three cafes and six trucks all over the city.
You are most likely to spot their ice cream truck in Soho, on the corner of Prince and Greene street.
I usually never have strawberry ice cream because they're all very artificial but at Van Leeuwen you can expect only natural and the highest quality ingredients.
This is their cosy cafe in East Village where they also serve excellent coffee and have special weekly flavours.
Sour cream ice cream with blueberry swirl - ice cream experience I'll never forgot. After having 2 scoops at the cafe, we also took a pint of it home with us.
Also, the Earl Grey was much much better than I ever expected.
