Paris: Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature

Surprisingly, the first museum I visited here in Paris was a museum of hunting and nature.

Even if you don't have any particular interest in the subject, you will be impressed by the breathtakingly beautiful rooms filled with paintings from 18-19th century, photos, sculptures, taxidermy, collection of arms and other objects used for hunting throughout history. 
Besides temporary collection, they also showcase some work by contemporary artists embracing the same theme.
