Shinjuku

Today I took the train to Shinjuku station - world's busiest station serving about 4 million people every day. Hence I tried to get away from the station and all the big department stores as quickly as possible and decided to get lost on little streets and alleyways instead. Somehow I ended up in Korea Town - streets filled with Korean beauty stores, K-Pop idol boutiques and bibimbap restaurants.

For lunch I went to one of the fast food chains, Matsuya, again. You pick your dish from vending machine, pay, sit down and hand the ticket to the waitress. Food arrives in 2-3 minutes as no one has time to waste for eating. A man next to me devoured his huge plate of curry in two minutes. I took a little bit more time to try and experiment with all the complimentary pickles and sauces offered.

Bibim bowl (spicy meat and egg on a bowl of rice) for 3 euros (!)
