Surprisingly, the first museum I visited here in Paris was a museum of hunting and nature.
Even if you don't have any particular interest in the subject, you will be impressed by the breathtakingly beautiful rooms filled with paintings from 18-19th century, photos, sculptures, taxidermy, collection of arms and other objects used for hunting throughout history.
Besides temporary collection, they also showcase some work by contemporary artists embracing the same theme.
I know I haven been such a lousy blogger but a lot is going on. Since my last post, I've left New York, made a quick stop in London and landed in Paris. Just wanted to remind you that I am still instantly updating my Tumblr with iPhone photos I take throughout days and of course Instagram. Feel free to follow!
A new story for nowfashion.com is out now - Strip away the artifice and discover authenticity.
I shot it back in December in Paris, actually in a suburb of Paris in Turkish baths. It was a surreal place with hidden saunas and washing rooms in the basement. Amazing that places like this exist and people still go there on daily basis.
