Love letter to New York vol. 20308097

Right now I really wish I could slow down time and take everything from the last week of my stay in New York. Still here but already missing it and all the excellent coffee shops, parks, smoothie bars, my building's doormen, abundance of art galleries and museums, Beacon's Closet, great people I met, and Duane Reade around the corner that's open for 24h for all my late-night cravings. can't wait to come back next spring

Heatwave in November

Another gem from the Proenza Schouler sample sale - skirt with a crazy mesmerising print that stands out even in front of the glitziest wallpaper.

November Sun

"Not buying new stuff because soon enough I have to pack my life into a suitcase and come back home" thing is not going so well. How can you say no when you receive an invitation to Proenza Schouler sample sale where's everything is up to 85% off retail prices (love you, new york!). Even though most of the stuff was still out of my budget, I yet managed to get three great items for less than $200, including the patterned top in the picture.

Most importantly, I am wearing my new lovely earrings by a NY-based brand Ming Yu Wang. I had a pleasure working for the designer a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely fell in love with her very simple and refined jewelry. Can't wait to show you the look book we shot in a beautiful location outside the town.

Cha-An Teahouse

Introducing an adorable tea house I stumbled upon in East Village last week. Cha-an teahouse has a traditional Japanese interior, wide variety of different teas, lunch sets and incredible dessert menu. Tea comes in a small pot they refill with hot water from time to time, so my little tea lasted me for a couple hours I spent there.

After seeing photos of their amazing desserts on yelp.com, I knew that Black Sesame Creme Brulee was what I had to order for sure. It was amazing, topped with black sesame ice cream and sugar crisp  and tasted unlike anything I have had before.. And I am not even a big fan of creme brulees.  In the picture on the right side you can see a sneak-peak of a new jewelry collection I have been working on. More info and pictures soon!

Fall in New York

Must be my favourite season. It's still warm enough to sit outside for lunch (temperatures are high as 21 degrees some days), instead of rain, tiny yellow leaves are falling on the ground and sunsets are amazingly beautiful.
