There is no chinatown in Tokyo so I went to Yokohama in south of Tokyo where Japan's largest one is located. As my only experience with chinatowns has been in New York I can say it was quite spectacular. Unlike in New York, there were also very elaborate temples, many Chinese restaurants and Panda-themed souvenir shops in Yokohama Chinatown. Also, it's probably the cleanest and nicest chinatown on earth!
I immersed myself in all those vibrants colours, lights and stuffed myself with steamed pork buns and Chinese sweets, yum! It's only 30 minutes train ride away from Tokyo so I'd definitely go again if I happen to crave Chinese food. Such a nice little escape from Japan for free.
