Seoul: Color Your Life. At Daelim Museum

I don't know if it was they exhibited many works by Northen Europe designers, but Daelim Museum had very Scandinavian feel to it. Museum Café even served coffee and cakes on Iittala tableware, no secret that I am already rather homesick so I enjoyed it a lot!

Their current exhibition Color Your Life introduces the processes by which color combines with creative designs of diverse materials to produce new objects that transform our everyday lives. It was a feast for the eyes! especially the furniture and interior design part.

COLOR IS EVERYWHERE: color-themed photographs of six artists creating a journey of rediscovery through colors found in the people, food, scenery and objects around us, re-illuminating the hidden aesthetic value in everyday life.

'COLOR MEETS MATERIAL' offers experience of the chromatic textures produced when color meets glass, fabric, leather, metal and other materials with distinct properties of their own.

COLOR CHALLENGES DESIGN demonstrates some of the creative new directions in which seven international contemporary furniture designers -Morten & Jonas, Bethan Laura Wood, Nika Zupanc, Fredrik Paulsen, Anton Alvarez, Hilda Hellström, Lex Pott- are taking color.
